This poster was created using the original park survey data from the Schneider Corporation that was converted from CAD to GIS format by GIS Center staff. In addition, this poster incorporates the 2003 Putnam County aerial orthophotography downloaded from the Indiana Spatial Data Portal.

The poster was on display in the Manning Environmental Field Station on April 21, 2006, during the dedication ceremonies of the Ian & Mimi Roland Welcome and Activities Center and the Manning Environmental Field Station. The deep indigo color in the map represents the approximate current water level of the quarry pond. The remaining progression of colors shows the estimated results to the quarry floor if the water level were to increase.
