Hartman House
Jessie Weasner A native Buckeye, Jessie graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1999 with Bachelors Degrees in Sociology and Religious Studies. She then joined AmeriCorps VISTA and moved to the South Bronx, where she worked with a nonprofit that trains parents and community members to become volunteer tutors in the NYC Public Schools. In the fall of 2002 she returned to school to earn her Master of Theological Studies, graduating from Vanderbilt Divinity School in May of 2004. In November 2004 Jessie came to DePauw University to serve as the new Coordinator of Community Service and Outreach. In January 2008 she became the Assistant Director of the Hartman House. She enjoys working with the talented and caring students that volunteer at the Hartman House. |
