Faculty and Staff
While the Office of International Education & Off-Campus Study serves as a primary resource for students interested in off-campus study and for international students, faculty and staff members from across campus play a significant role in the international education of our students. Faculty and staff members serve as advisors and promoters of off-campus study and they work with international students in the classroom and outside of the classroom. The more international experiences faculty and staff members have themselves, the better equipped they are to serve as role models for and advocates of international learning. While we encourage all faculty members take advantage of international opportunities, we also encourage bringing foreign faculty and scholars to campus.
To help faculty and staff members act in these capacities, there are several resources we make available:
- Information to help advise students on off-campus study.
- Information to help advise and work with international students.
- Opportunities for faculty development, including workshops, seminars, and places for sabbatical research.
- Opportunities to bring international scholars to campus.
