Rex Call, LAT, ATC, Director of Sport Medicine was recently promoted to with rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology effective with the 2006-2007 academic year.

Roger Doan, Assistant Athletic Trainer and Rex Call, Director of Sports Medicine attended the NATA 57th Annual Meeting & Clinical Symposia in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

July 2006

Rex Call, LAT, ATC, Director of Sports Medicine attended the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Research Education Foundation's SportsMetrics Certification Course.

October 2006

Rex Call was featured in the NCAA News on October 9, 2006 in an article entitled, "On Call." The article was part of the "A Day in the Life" series and described the daily challenges and rewards that an athletic trainer encounters.

 

January 2007

 Jen Pipkin, LAT, ATC, Assistant Athletic Trainer at DePauw University recently collaborated with Dr. Tom Weidner of Ball State University and Gary Noble, M.S., LAT, ATC of Carson-Newman College to author a paper in the Journal of Athletic Training entitled, "Athletic training Students in the College/University Setting and the Scope of Clinical Education."

Roger Doan, LAT, ATC, CSCS, Assistant Athletic Trainer completed the January FITS workshop and a web page design project for strength and conditioning.
