Women: Defeat in Sectional Final Ends Record-Breaking Season
DePauw was defeated by Hope College 76-60 on their home court in the Sectional Final of the NCAA Div. III Tournament. The heartbreaker ended the team's SCAC record-setting season in which they went 29-2. Liz Bondi and Gretchen Haehl were both named to the Sectional team. WGRE would like to congratulate the Women for their spectacular season and wish the graduating seniors all the best!

Men: Loss in Round 1 of NCAA Tourney Ends Run
The Tigers fell to the Warhawks of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 76-68, last Friday night. The loss ended their hopes of NCAA glory, which were sparked by the 61-foot shot from Austin Brown that broke a tie with Centre College and gave DePauw a 3-point victory. You can watch a video of that historic half-court shot that won the Tigers the SCAC Championship. WGRE would like to congratulate the Men for their season and wish the graduating seniors all the best!

NCAA, Round 2: DePauw Women 63, Calvin College 72
The DePauw Women's Basketball team played Calvin College in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers' season ended after they battled back from a 16-point deficit only to see Calvin run away with the game. Calvin won 72-63. WGRE would like to congratulate the Tigers on their season and wish departing seniors, Amy Argetsinger (SCAC Player of the Year) and Sarah Zondor, all the best.

Audio from the Game
Even though the DePauw Women's Basketball team was eliminated in the second round of the NCAA tournament, the Tigers played one of the most exciting stretches of the season during the second half against Calvin. WGRE has captured DePauw's run from 13 down to get back into the game. Listen as Brian Gustin calls the action along with Matt Barwise and Wes Anderson. Thanks to the Women's Basketball team for an exciting game to cap-off a tremendous season.
