The Judson and Joyce Green Center For the Performing Arts is home to the School of Music and the Departments of Communications Arts and Sciences and Theater. It houses the 1,500-seat Kresge Auditorium, 400-seat Moore Theater and the 220-seat Thompson Recital Hall. Burkhart Hall, the academic wing of the building, contains teaching studios, 53 soundproof practice modules, a music library with listening and recording facilities, and classrooms. The center features a landscaped courtyard and a 37-bell carillon tower.
