The Memorial Student Union Building is a centerpiece of the DePauw campus. It originally opened in 1951 and underwent significant renovations and additions in 1998. Many student life offices are located in the Union, including the Hub dining area, the University Bookstore and various recreational rooms. It is also home to the offices of Civic, Global and Professional Opportunities; the McDermond Center for Entrepreneurship and Management; DePauw Public Safety and several meeting rooms.
