The South Quad Residence Halls are Bishop Roberts Hall, Longden Hall, Hogate Hall and Humbert Hall. Built in 1961, Bishop Roberts Hall (B.R.) is connected to Longden Hall by a tunnel and is the largest of all residence halls, with a student capacity of 135 in double occupancy rooms. Bishop Roberts was renovated in the fall of 1999. Longden Hall was built in 1927 and completely renovated in the summer of 2000. Its carpeted double and triple rooms house 120 first-year residents. Hogate Hall, built in 1968, is home to 135 first-year and upperclass students on three floors. Humbert Hall, built in 1989, houses 135 first-year students on three floors in the South Quad and is the home of the South Quad Office.
