More Information:

False Rue-anemone looks very similar to Rue Anemone, Thalictrum thalictroides.  False Rue-anemone flowers always have five white sepals whereas Rue Anemone flowers usually have more than five white sepals.  The genus name Enemion is from the Greek for anemos meaning “wind.”  The species name biternatum is from the Latin and refers to the leaves being twice (bi-) divided into three parts (-tern).
