Here is a summary of resources and offices dedicated to creating an inclusive culture and supporting members of the community as well as a summary of reports and recommendations detailing the work of the Administration and faculty on issues of diversity and inclusion.
Diversity and Inclusion Lib Guides provide DePauw University faculty, staff, and students with sources related to diversity, inclusivity and microaggressions in higher education.
From dedicated staff in the Office of the President and the Office of Student Life, to the Diversity and Equity Committee and the Office of Human Resources, an array of resources are available to members of the campus community. Together, they represent DePauw's commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive community.

Diversity and Equity Committee
The Diversity and Equity Committee consists of faculty, staff and student representation and exists to advise the Administration and the faculty policy related to diversity, inclusiveness and equity. It also presents educational sessions for all employees; identifies issues regarding diversity and equity in campus life and refers them to the appropriate University office and/or committee(s) for action; and regularly assesses aspects of the University's efforts to attract and retain a diverse campus community. Office of the President
Renee Madison '95, Senior Advisor to the President for Diversity and Compliance, provides guidance directly to the President on issues of diversity and inclusion. She also serves as the University's Title IX Coordinator.

Center for Diversity and Inclusion
The Center for Diversity and Inclusion directs programming and provides resources dedicated to supporting students from under-represented backgrounds, including students of color, international student, and LGBT students. The Center also partners with the Women's Center on issues related to gender equity and with the Office of Spiritual Life to celebrate the many religious traditions on DePauw's campus. Office of Human Resources
Staff members in the Office of Human Resources are committed to ensuring that institutional decisions regarding hiring, promotion, compensation and admission will be based upon a person’s qualifications and/or performance without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, age, gender, gender identity or gender expression, except where religion, gender, or national origin is a bona fide occupational qualification. The Human Resources staff also, in partnership with the Senior Advisor to the President for Diversity and Compliance, direct faculty and staff training regarding Title IX protocols and diversity and inclusion. Diversity and Equity Committee
The Diversity and Equity Committee offered a set of specific recommendations to the President, the Administration and the faculty in April of 2014. They also provide annual reports on their work.

DePauw Student Government White Papers
White papers are authoritative reports provided by DePauw Student Government about concerns within the campus community. White papers are typically written by the members of the Senate Chamber and Executive Board.
Women and Family Task Force Report
Commissioned to examine and review the role of family in the modern University, the Task Force on Women and Families presented its final report to the University President in the Spring of 2010.

Campus Climate Task Force Report
Commissioned in the Fall of 2007 to review the progress of diversity initiatives and examine areas where work was still needed, the Campus Climate Task Force grew out of an idea developed by the University's black caucus in the Fall of 2006 and presented its report and recommendations to the University President in 2008. Student campus climate is conducted by the Dean of Students while faculty staff campus climate is conducted by the President's Office.
