Podu: Podcast Web Application Network

Justine Clarke

There are currently no products that really create an organized podcast network and a simple user experience. PODU is a podcast network web application that lessens this issue. This project consists of the design and implementation of a comprehensive podcast network application. PODU has full CRUD functionality along with authentication and login. Users create individual profiles and add podcasts, notes and tag their cast with topics to organize. PODU is also an application built to store, upload and assign topics to various uploaded podcast mp3 files. The application also allows the user to listen to 30 second podcast samples, along with use search terms and ability to download the podcasts playlists. Maintaining an oral tradition is important and with PODU users can do just that and manage and gain insights through comments and listener numbers into how others relate with their podcasts.
