GEOS GSA Meeting - Student Presentation

Forrest Kunkel '15, Stephen Dobbs '15, & Will Joseph '14 (from left to right in photo) gained valuable experience at the 2013 Geological Society of America annual meeting held in Denver from Oct 27-30. These gentlemen presented a poster describing the results of their research in China this past summer with Dr. Tim Cope. The title of their poster was "Mesozoic structural and stratigraphic framework of the Yanshan fold-thrust belt: a record of contractile and extensional tectonics in NE China". Even though their poster session was on the last day of the conference, the students had a steady flow of visitors to their poster to discuss their work.
