Justin Collado headshotJustin Collado is a 2020 graduate from DePauw University with a double major in Sociology and Theatre. He is a Dominican-American from New York City and has an unstoppable passion for dance. Justin Collado spends most of his time dedicating his work and craft towards his own goal of becoming a professional dancer with a company that solely focuses on the education, styles, and teachings of Black dance. Throughout his college career, he’s managed to commit himself to a variety of leadership roles, organizations, and activities such as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., X-Cell Dance Team, First-Year Residential Assistant, Publicity Intern for Campus Activities, Elite Precizion Step Team, Center for Diversity and Inclusion, and Caribbean Student Association. During his time at DePauw, he assisted with a number projects, independent from his own, that worked closely with the DePauw community such as being the choreographer for a piece in Bring It On and the Dance/Movement Director for Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Justin Collado now serves as the Arts Administration Graduate Intern for the Green Center of Performing Arts.
