Lecture by Professor Bronwen Wickkiser (Wabash)

#Academic Professor Bronwen Wickkiser will be giving a lecture on  a collaborative project on the round building at Epidauros (in Greece) that she and her collaborators are arguing was used for musical performance.  She suggests that the music had a therapeutic benefit in particular.  It's a fun project with computer renderings, some sound models, and an intention of trying to get at the sensory experience of antiquity through a combination of material evidence and literature. This event is free and open to the public.

Video Showing of Gary Hustwit's Urbanized

Showing of Gary Hustwit's documentary, "Urbanized" for Professor Kuecker's Introduction to Urban Studies course.  The viewing, of course, is open to the public.  In the 21st century, the global population will grow to 9 billion people, and 2/3 of them will be urban.  The documentary provides insights from leading urban thinkers that invite us to contemplate the many meanoi9ngs of the urban century.  

The documentary runs for 85 minutes.
