Green Guest Artist: Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra

Engaging melodies, rich harmonies and orchestral textures describe Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 3, which came 30 years after his second symphony. Italian conductor Daniele Rustioni will lead the ISO through the nostalgic Symphony No. 3 and Respighi’s symphonic poem Fountains of Rome. Cellist Julian Steckel will take on Shostakovich’s challenging Concerto No. 1.

Stage Combat Workshop

Offered by by one of this country's most respected and awarded teachers of Shakespeare, Kevin Coleman of Shakespeare & Company, this promises to be a fun and educational romp in how to safely and believably perform stage combat. Coleman will be assisted by Alison Howard '16, a director and actor for Shakespeare & Co and a former director in DePauw's Spring Spectacle of Shakespeare.  Come prepared to move, roll, threaten, and laugh. No experience necessary.  Open to all students and community members.

Prince Charming, the self-absorbed sisters, the Fairy Queen and Cinderella’s difficult stepmother all have a part in this age-old, rags-to-riches tale of finding the mysterious girl who lost her slipper! Sung in French, with English supertitles, this humorous and hopeful retelling transports opera-goers to a more innocent moment in time with its perennial message of truthfulness and belief in oneself.

General admission: $10

Tickets for seniors, youth and all students are free.
