All students, faculty and staff are responsible for personally assessing their own health and possible exposure to the virus causing COVID-19 at least daily while on campus. This includes a requirement that each individual considers whether they have experienced any symptoms, including:

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fever

  • Congestion

  • Runny Nose

  • Nausea

  • Diarrhea

  • Vomiting

  • Headache

  • Overall fatigue

  • Chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Sore throat

  • New loss of taste or smell

If you exhibit any symptoms, regardless of your COVID-19 vaccination status, please avoid contact with others and seek medical care.

Employees with symptoms are required to follow Human Resources policies related to sick time and should notify their supervisor of their absence in accordance with usual procedures.

Students with symptoms are required to isolate in their room, refrain from attending in-person classes, working at student employment positions, academic or other activities until they seek medical care or contact a member of the COVID-19 case management team.

These recommendations and requirements will be updated as new information about the virus develops and we monitor and evaluate data. (last updated 7.30.21)
