All students returning to campus will be required to update their health record with DePauw Health through a secure process and email address. Employees and students are required to report symptoms or positive test results to DePauw Health through a secure email address.
Every student who will be in residence, attend courses on-campus, or attend other approved on-campus activities must adhere to our return to campus health protocol which includes two negative COVID-19 tests in 7 days, and our on-going health protocol which includes weekly, random asymptomatic testing and a daily symptom screening.
A negative COVID test is required prior to moving into a residential space, attending courses on-campus, or attending other approved on-campus activities at DePauw University.
The flu vaccine is recommended for all employees and students. On-campus vaccination clinics will be provided at no cost to DePauw community members.
In conjunction with Hendricks Regional Health, the DePauw Health Wellness Center will provide COVID-19 diagnostic (symptomatic) testing to students, and employees who are participants in the University's health insurance plan. Additional information on testing frequency for students, and for employees who are not participants in the University's health insurance plan will be forthcoming.
These recommendations and requirements will be updated as new information about the virus develops and we monitor and evaluate data. (last updated 8.1.2020)
