On-Campus Summer Programs April 6
Dear students, faculty and staff,
As you plan for the remainder of the spring term, we wanted to update you regarding May Term and summer on-campus programs. Due to the continued threat of the virus that causes COVID-19, we have regretfully decided that there will be no on-campus summer programs. This includes on-campus faculty-student summer research, on-campus internships and student employment, and on-campus summer camps. May Term travel courses were cancelled previously. While no on-campus May Term courses will be offered, we will offer several May Term courses that will be taught remotely. Details will be posted in the Schedule of Classes soon.
While difficult to make, we believe this decision is in the best interest of community health and safety, decreases the chances of an outbreak on campus, and ensures we do everything we can to continue typical opening plans for fall term.
Departments and areas currently working from home should continue to do so. We are continuing our suspension of all on-campus operations with the exception of those that are essential and cannot be conducted remotely until further notice.
