Friend of the Parents Council Award
PURPOSE OF THE AWARD
The student experience at DePauw University is the basis of the DePauw Parents Council Mission. The Friend of the Parents Council Award has been established to recognize faculty and staff who have made a difference in a student’s or group of students’ campus experience.
CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD
The faculty or staff member selected for this award exemplifies a helpful nature and concern for students and/or has contributed to student learning and development.
The Parents Council will accept nominations from current students or their families for the 2017-2018 academic year – the inaugural year of the award – until January 15, 2018.
To nominate a faculty or staff member, please explain in 500 words or less how your nominee has impacted the student experience at DePauw, using examples where possible. One nomination per person, please.

Nominations will open on November 1, 2017 and end January 15, 2018. One faculty member or staff member will be selected each academic year by the Parents Council for this honor and will be recognized at the Spring Parents Council meeting.
