Dawna Sinnet Wilson '82
Director of Stewardship
A DePauw alumna, Dawna joined the University’s development staff immediately upon her graduation in 1982. Following the completion of DePauw’s Sesquicentennial Campaign in 1987, she spent two years at Butler University, before returning to DePauw. Over her 32 years in development, she has worked in the areas of development research, corporate and foundation relations and, since 1994, donor stewardship, the most gratifying area. As director of stewardship, Dawna leads a team whose efforts include gift proposals, documentation, acknowledgement and compliance, donor recognition, fund reporting and development communications.
Outside of work, she spends her time in an equally divided DePauw-Wabash household, married to Larry (Wabash ’73), and with their children, Emily (DePauw ’13) and Clark (Wabash ’15).
