Associate Director of Stewardship
Karen earned her B.A. in art history and communication from the University of Michigan and her M.A. in comparative literature from the University of the Philippines. She did editorial work for publishing companies in Ann Arbor, Chicago and western Massachusetts and for an education research firm in Berkeley before she moved to Greencastle in 2000.
As a member of the DePauw annual fund team from 2001 to 2004, she managed the student phonathon program and shared coordination of alumni class reunions. Since she joined the stewardship staff in 2004, her primary responsibilities have involved reporting on funds that support and honor the faculty and those that underwrite student participation in experiential learning. She also coordinates the University’s Honor Roll of Donors and contributes to various other initiatives that express DePauw’s appreciation of its donors.
