Kristin Perks Champa '91

Kristin received her Bachelor of Music degree from DePauw University and her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in voice performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Kristin has 15 years of program development, operations and fundraising experience in nonprofit organizations. Prior to returning to DePauw, Kristin worked in the Office of the Executive and Artistic Director of Carnegie Hall, and in 2000 became the assistant director of Midori & Friends, a music education outreach organization founded by violinist Midori.
As a development consultant for the arts, Kristin has a proven track record of securing funding on local, state and national levels. In addition to her work across campus as the executive director of annual giving, Kristin serves as the director of School of Music development, assisting with its fundraising efforts for the 21st Century Musician Initiative. Kristin and her husband, Lou (DePauw ’91,) reside in Zionsville, Indiana, and have three children: Olivia, Cecilia and Alexander.
