"Opening Remarks and Keynote: Homelanders: What Do We Know About the Next Generation of College Students?"
Presented by Cara Setchell, First-Year Class Dean, DePauw University
While they share some similarities with the Millennial Generation, Generation Z has a new set of characteristics and will have very different expectations for their college experience. Learn what we currently know about this generation, what has shaped them, what they believe, the challenges colleges anticipate in recruiting them and factors we need to consider in working with them both in and out of the classroom.
