Music Education & Percussion

Josh Fulford is an active percussion performer, educator, and clinician based out of Indianapolis, IN. He can be seen playing with the Heartland Marimba Ensemble, BlueWater Kings Band, NFL Indianapolis Colts drumline, in theatres and jazz venues, orchestras such as the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, and at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). He is currently on faculty at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, working in year 9 at Franklin Central High School, and pursuing his DM in Percussion Performance at IU Jacobs, where he also works as an Associate Instructor.

Josh holds a B.S. in Music Media and Production from Ball State University, and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. His primary teachers include Braham Dembar, Cassius Goens, Craig Hetrick, Steve Houghton, Sean Dobbins, Kevin Bobo, Dr. Joe Galvin, and Joseph Gramley. Josh is an artist for the Avedis Zildjian Company, Vic Firth, and Remo.
