Normal, Ill. - DePauw's men shot an opening-round 308 and are in sixth place at the halfway point of the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational, but just three strokes off the pace. St. Francis (Ill.) and Nebraska Wesleyan lead the field with 305. 

Ty Frost led the Tigers with a 73 which is good for third place, while Eric Tandy is tied for ninth with a 75. Brandon Bekkering is tied for 34th with a 79 followed by Nick Nunley in a tie for 52nd with an 81 and Spencer Strup in a tie for 84th at 85.

Wes Hillen of Millikin leads with a 71 with Illinois Wesleyan's Dex Reese in second at 82 followed by Frost's 73.

Final round play takes place on Saturday.
