DePauw's NCAC Elimination Game Suspended Due to Weather

Chillicothe, Ohio - DePauw took a 2-0 lead over Ohio Wesleyan in its North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament elimination game before the rains and lightning forced play to be halted for the evening. The game will be resumed at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Battling Bishops loaded the bases in the third off of DePauw starter Andy Manson, but couldn't score. The Tigers then broke through in the fourth as Jason Cohen led off with a single and moved to second on Alex Wright's sacrifice bunt. Robbie Stein then delivered an RBI single to give DePauw a 1-0 lead.

The Tigers expanded the margin to 2-0 in the fifth when Zach Starr led off with a single, moved to second on Zach Galyean's sacrifice bunt ans scored when Rob McPike reach on an infield error.

The winner of the game advances to play Wooster at 1 p.m. on Saturday, needing to beat the Fighting Scots twice to win the NCAC title.
