Aldrich Earns All-America Honors

DSC 6010Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior forward Katie Aldrich has earned a spot on the All-America team after being selected to the third team.

Aldrich, the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year, led the Tigers in scoring with 11.8 points per  contest and was second in rebounding at 6.4 per contest. She grabbed a team-high 88 offensive boards.

The Tigers finished with a 27-2 record before bowing out of the NCAA Division III Championship after a 53-48 second-round loss. DePauw won both the North Coast Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles and finished conference play with a 16-0 record.

Aldrich is DePauw's fifth selection to the women's all-America team and its first since 2008.

Kelly Morrison was a first team choice in 1999, while Amy Argetsinger earned fourth team honors in 2005. Liz Bondi was a second team selection in 2007 and Cassie Pruzin a fourth team honoree in 2008.
