DePauw Improves to 4-1 with Win at Oberlin

Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 9-0 win at Oberlin. The Yeowomen dropped to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in NCAC play.

The Tigers scored three times in the opening 10 minutes and built a 5-0 halftime advantage.

Paige Henry and Kate Jovanovic each scored twice, while Bridgette Shamleffer, Caroline Torie, Chelsea Cutler, Natalie Abbott and Kylie Maloney each added single goals. Margaret Ellis assisted on a pair, while Cutler and Henry finished with one assist apiece.

DePauw held a 36-4 edge in shots including a 24-1 margin in shots on goal. Maggie Steele recorded the shutout for the Tigers, while Kiram Puri totaled five saves for Oberlin and Carmen Azevedo had 13.

The Tigers travel to Wooster for a 1 p.m. NCAC match on Sunday.
