Pair of Pitchers Earn All-NCAC Honors

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior pitchers Jordan Niespodziany (South Bend, Ind./Mishawaka Marian) and Joe Wojda (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) have been named honorable mention all-North Coast Athletic Conference.

Jordan NiespodzianyNiespodziany (left), who missed his sophomore and junior seasons after undergoing Tommy John surgery, posted a 4-2 overall record with a 3.32 earned run average. He didn't allow an earned run over his final 14 innings of the season and tossed a complete game shutout on April 28 at Wittenberg.

Joe WojdaWojda (right), the Tigers' closer, was 1-2 with seven saves and a 3.79 earned run average over a team-high 15 appearances. His seven saves tied his own season-best from 2012 which also is the second most in program history. His 15 career saves is a DePauw record.
