Fighting Scots Snap Tigers' Six-Game Streak

Wooster, Ohio - Host Wooster scored once in each half as it handed DePauw its first North Coast Athletic Conference loss of the season and snapped its six-game win streak with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers.

DePauw dropped to 6-5 overall and 2-1 in NCAC play, while Wooster improved to 7-4-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.

Kathleen Kalafatis gave the Fighting Scots a 1-0 lead at the 15:03 mark on Kimberly Seidell's assist, while Kennedy Payne tacked on an insurance goal at 76:37 on a pass from Katherine Tuttle.

Wooster outshot DePauw 14-2, but DePauw led in corners, 7-3. DePauw's Emma Cooper totaled two saves, while Sydney Hanzlik finished with two for Wooster.

DePauw returns to play on Wednesday, October 9, with a 7 p.m. contest against Greenville at Boswell Field.
