Thomas Charters '66 Elected to Ringling Museum Board

Thomas J. Charters, a 1966 graduate of DePauw University, have been named to board of directors of the The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Located in Sarasota, Florida, and established in 1927, it is the official state art museum for Florida.

"Charters has a Sarasota history stretching back to the 1960s, when his parents retired here," notes an item in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. "He and his wife, Ann ['67], bought a home here while they were living in Korea, where he worked for Citibank. After overseas stints in Brazil and Venezuela, Charters returned to the United States in 1995 and was president of PCFG Advisory Inc., a New York-based family office for Latin American investors. Charters holds a B A. from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
