Chuck Brooks '79 is 'Cybersecurity Leader of The Week'

Chuck Brooks, a 1979 graduate of DePauw University, is the Cyber Startup Observatory's "Cybersecurity Leader of The Week." According to an announcment, "The purpose of the Cybersecurity Startup Observatory is to collaborate to build a safer financial industry and to help solve critical problems leveraging cybersecurity innovation."

Last week, Brooks was one of 20 individuals named a "Global Influencer in Cybersecurity" by a panel of 30 judges commissioned by IFSEC Global.

Brooks, principal market growth strategist for cybersecurity and emerging technologies for General Dynamics Mission Systems, was recently selected by the Washington Post to be a part of "The Network:\," composed of "some of the most influential people in cybersecurity."

A political science major at DePauw, Brooks earned an M.A. in international relations from the University of Chicago and holds a certificate in international law from The Hague.
