Four Free Student Music Recitals This Weekend

March 13, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw University School of Music will present four student recitals this weekend, starting with a clarinet and oboe concert Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Thompson Recital Hall. School of Music majors Briana Rhodes, clarinet; and Christopher Setcos, oboe; will present a program featuring music of Handel, Poulenc, Ravel, Schumann, Mozart, and Krommer.

The first of two recitals on Saturday will be presented by College of Liberal Arts students, Grace Castellini and Kim Frazier, both sopranos, performing music from Mozart to Billie Holiday at 3 p.m. in Thompson Recital Hall.

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Thompson, School of Music senior and soprano Amanda Sidebottom presents a recital of music by Scarlatti, Dowland, Mozart, Debussy, R. Strauss, and Pasatieri.

The last concert of the weekend is at 3 p.m. Sunday in Musical notesThompson when School of Music senior Robert Maril sings music of Mozart, Butterworth, Leguerney, Debussy, Mahler, and Ned Rorem.

All of these concerts are free and open to the public.
