May 6, 2002

May 6, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw University Indoor Tennis and Track Center will serve as host for the 2003 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 14-15. The announcement by the NCAA comes just less than one year after the University hosted the Division III Men's Tennis Championships.

"We are thrilled to host another national championship at DePauw University," director of athletics Page Cotton said. "We feel that the facilities we can offer the competing student-athletes are second to none in Division III."

The Championships will take place in the track portion of the Center which includes a 200-meter, six lane track with an eight-lane straightaway and a Mondo Super-X spike-proof surface.

"We are fortunate to have an outstanding facility and the participants will enjoy competing here," DePauw track and cross country coach Kori Stoffregen said.

In the last year, DePauw has also hosted second-round games in the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Basketball Championships. You can read more about DePauw's athletic programs by clicking here.
