DePauw University Band Performs Thursday Afternoon at 1

December 3, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw University Band, under the direction of Craig Paré, will present its final concert of the semester on Thursday, December 5 at 1 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium of DePauw's Performing Arts Center.

This Convocation Concert will be broadcast live on DePauw's student-run radio station, WGRE (91.5 FM) and can be accessed via the Internet by clicking here.

The program will feature three exciting works:

  • Three Japanese Dances - Bernard Rogers
  • Concerto for 23 Winds - Walter Hartley
  • La Fiesta Mexicana - H. Owen Reed

Two DePauw faculty members, Assistant Professor of Modern Languages Linda Elman and Professor of Asian Studies Paul Watt, will share program notes with the audience on La Fiesta Mexicana and Three Japanese Dances, respectively.
