July 17, 2003

July 17, 2003, Greencastle, Ind. - "There were a lot of girls, and I made a lot of new friends -- friendships I'm sure I'll have for the rest of my life," said Mary Beth Robinson as she was crowned Hamilton County, Indiana's 2003 4-H Queen Tuesday night. "Mary Beth has been a member of 4-H for nine years, completing 35 projects," the Indianapolis Star notes. "She's a 2003 graduate of Carmel High School and will attend DePauw University, where she will major in elementary education."

The pageant's co-chair, Molly Drummond, tells the newspaper, "We look for a 4-H gal -- someone who can represent our county's 4-H program."
