Annie Corley '82 Featured in Critically-Acclaimed Film Monster

February 6, 2004

February 6, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - Annie Corley, a 1982 graduate of DePauw University whose film resume includes roles in Seabiscuit and Bridges of Madison County, is earning strong reviews for her performance in the new movie, Monster, starring Charlize Theron. The Orlando Sentinel writes, "Annie Corley, as Selby's disapproving aunt, makes a stronger impression" than Christina Ricci, who portrays Selby. The Las Vegas Review-Journal states that Corley adds "a welcome note of satire to her do-gooder character." The Denver Post opines, Corley plays her character "with edge but not condescension."
