Davila named to D3football.com team of the week

DePauw freshman Luis Davila has earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week for his special teams play during the season-opening win over Rhodes. The team covers the first two weeks of the season.

 

Davila blocked two third-quarter punts in the Tigers' 28-26 win over visiting Rhodes on September 5. One of the blocks was returned by teammate Curran Clark for a touchdown.

 

DePauw, 1-1 overall and 1-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, travels to 15th-ranked Hanover this Saturday.
