DePauw finishes second at Washington Invitational

DePauw totaled 605 points and finished second at the two-day Washington (Mo.) University Invitational. The hosts won the meet with 1,007 points.


Megan Davenport won the 100 freestyle in 54.70 seconds and placed second in the 200 individual medley in 2:16.49. Amy Ratliff was third in three-meter diving with 315.55 points and placed fourth on the one-meter board with 270.25 points.


Christiana Stevenson placed second in the 200 backstroke in 2:21.88, while Kristen Schouten was second in the 1,650 free in 19:27.29 and Meagan Goss placed third in 19:41.74. Katie Beehler finished second in the 100 back in 1:03.64, while Blair McCarthy was third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.51 and Anne Mahoney placed third in the 400 individual medley in 5:08.96.


The Tigers also recorded second place finishes in four relays including the 200 medley (1:56.68), 400 medley (4:19.37), 200 free (1:44.58) and 400 free (3:53.25).


DePauw returns to action on Saturday, January 31, when it hosts Rose-Hulman at 1 p.m. in the final dual meet of the season.
