Eric Wolfe '04 to Lead New United Way Initiative, Putnam County 4Community

ericwolfe2.gifJanuary 25, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Eric Wolfe, a 2004 graduate of DePauw University, has been named coordinator of Putnam County 4Community, a new initiative of the United Way. "I am excited about the opportunity to serve Putnam County and look forward to the positive impact to be made," Wolfe says in an article on the front page of today's Banner-Graphic of Greencastle. "I hope my experiences will be helpful in coordinating this important community effort."

Wolfe, who ran unsuccessfully for state representative last fall (read more here) and has served as executive director of the National Youth Directions Council in Washington, D.C., adds, "The work of 4Community will be community identified, community driven, and community owned.Whatever issue the community may decide is the main focus, this initiative will make life better for Putnam County citizens."

"Eric has the community-building experience we were looking for in the 4Community united way.jpgcoordinator," says Elaine Peck, executive director of the United Way of Putnam County. "I am confident in his abilities to facilitate this effort with our local agencies and community leaders."
