July 30, 2005

July 30, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "A former Mt. Carmel High School athlete has returned to bring his specialty to the citizens of Mt. Carmel", notes Illinois' Mt. Carmel Register of 1996 DePauw University graduate Julko E. Fullop, M.D., who is joining Wabash General Hospital where he will practice orthopaedic surgery.

The newspaper states that Fullop "has prepared 13 years in his specialty, and has a long history of academic success. After graduating from MCHS, Dr. Fullop received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind., in 1996. He then attended the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and received his M.D. in 2000, with honors. Next came an orthopaedic surgery residency, completed earlier this month, at the University of Florida's Shands Hospital."
