Mike Yohe '57 Honored for Contributions to Higher Education and Technology

Mike Yohe.jpgNovember 20, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - J. Michael Yohe, executive director of electronic information services at Valparaiso University and 1957 graduate of DePauw University, is the recipient of the 2005 Penny Crane Award. Presented by the Special Interest Group for University and College Computing Services (SIGUCCS), the Award recognizes significant service to higher education, the computing profession, and to SIGUCCS and the Association for Computing Machinery.

Mike Yohe has been at Valparaiso since 1996, and previously served in similar positions at the University of Northern Iowa and Bradley University, and as director of academic computing at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He began his computing career in 1957, when he was in the U. S. Air Force stationed at the Pentagon. Read more about Yohe and his award by clicking here.
