Cymerman will be joined by colleagues from the University of Michigan, Indiana University and Indiana State University, who will also serve as judges, reports the South Bend Tribune. The competition, which is sponsored by the South Bend Area Music Teachers Association, is open to piano students in grades kindergarten through 12 who live in the Indiana and Michigan counties in the South Bend market.

"A goal of the competition is simply to provide a performance opportunity for piano students in this area, allowing them to receive feedback from highly-qualified judges," Musical notesthe newspaper notes.
