NCAA Tourney Begins Friday; Ticket Info Here

DePauw's allotment of 200 tickets for the men's basketball team's first round game in the NCAA Division III tournament -- at Wisconsin-Whitewater Friday at 8 p.m. CST (9 p.m. in Greencastle) -- goes on sale at 8:30 a.m. this morning in the Lilly Center athletic department office and continues until 4 p.m. Sales resume on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and in-person sales end at noon on Thursday. Prices are $6 for adults and $3 for students, senior citizens and children ages 2 and above. With a win on Friday, the Tigers will play Saturday night.

The women's basketball team, which has won 26 consecutive games, earned the only bye in the 63-team field of the NCAA Division III Championship and will open play in the second round on Saturday, March 4, at 7 p.m. That game will be played at DePauw's Lilly Center. Tickets will be available at the gate which opens at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Prices are $6 for adults and $3 for students, 2006 wbb 2.jpgsenior citizens and children ages 2 and above.

Austin Brown, who hit the 61-foot buzzer beater, will appear today on ESPN 2's Cold Pizza, which airs at 11 a.m. DePauw coach Bill Fenlon is scheduled to talk with ESPN Radio Saturday morning about the men's thrilling victory over Centre Sunday.
