Prof. Caroline Smith to Judge National Classical Singer Competition in Philadelphia

Smith, associate professor of music at DePauw University and coordinator of the voice program, has been invited to judge the second annual National Classical Singer Competition for High School Students. The competition will take place at the National Classical Singer Convention, May 18-20 in Philadelphia. The convention attracts more than 500 active singers, coaches and teachers.

Professor Smith was also asked to judge the competition last year. She will also present a master class where she will work with College Expo participants at the convention.

Smith also judged the finals of the Butler University Concerto Competition, which took place on April 22.
