John Morrow '92 Joins Vertafore as Sr. VP & General Counsel

Spring 2006 Arch.jpgJune 20, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - John C. Morrow, a 1992 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed senior vice president and general counsel at Vertafore, Inc. In his new role with the firm -- a leading provider of specialized software solutions for the insurance industry -- Morrow will drive legal strategy as well as merger and acquisition activities.

"John's strong background advising technology companies in mergers and acquisitions, licensing transactions and securities offerings will enable Vertafore to achieve its growth and market goals in 2006 and beyond," says Euan Menzies, president and CEO of Vertafore.

"I am very happy to be joining Vertafore," Morrow states. "I look forward to using my experience and background to extend the company's market leadership in delivering software solutions to the insurance industry."

Vertafore Logo.jpgMorrow was most recently a partner with Heller Ehrman LLP, a major international law firm, where he represented public and private technology companies in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, licensing and strategic partnership transactions, corporate governance and general business matters. The announcement of his appointment, released today, adds, "He has a bachelor's degree in political science from DePauw University and a juris doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School."
