Student Documentary Earns Third Place 'Indie' Award

East College Tight.jpgAugust 31, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Returning from Iraq: War Zone to Workplace-- a documentary produced by current DePauw University seniors Andrea Dres, Adam McClean, Lindsay Morris and Teddy Tutson, and 2006 graduate Jenny Morrissey -- was recently awarded third place at Cleveland's Indie Gathering Film Festival. The 30-minute film, produced in the fall of 2005 as part of Professor Ken Bode's "Documentary Television" course, portrays the issues American veterans face after returning home from the war as told from the perspective of a National Guard Veteran. It competed in the "Short Film" category.
