Emily Ristine.jpgSeptember 8, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Emily Ristine, a 1998 graduate of DePauw University, is one of the featured performers in the Indiana Repertory Theatre's world-premiere treatment of Booth Tarkington's first novel, The Gentleman from Indiana. Ristine portrays Helen Sherwood in the production, notes the Indianapolis Star, which includes a photo of her in a preview published today.

"Like the novel, the play tells of an East Coast journalist who arrives in small, mythical Plattville, Ind., during the late 1800s with the ambition of reviving its dying weekly paper." IRT's resident playwright, James Still, wrote an adaptation of the 1899 book.
