September 20, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Allison Baccich scored three goals including both of DePauw's first-half scores as the Tigers defeated Transylvania 7-0. DePauw improved to 2-2, while the Pioneers dropped to 1-6.

Baccich scored the first goal just 1:25 into the contest on an assist from Becca Gaines and her second came with 24:56 left in the half.

DePauw scored twice in the opening seven minutes of the second half as Gaines scored on an assist from Meredith Ellis with 34:01 left in the game and Baccich added her third goal on Ellis' assist with 28:07 remaining.

Jackie Smith and Melissa Davis added unassisted goals before Carolyn Mueller closed out the scoring with 8:21 left on Gaines' second assist.

DePauw outshot the Pioneers 27-1 and held an 18-2 advantage in penalty corners. Megan Blandford recorded 11 saves for Transylvania and Kaitlin Thomure had one for the Tigers.

The Tigers open Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday when the travel to Sewanee.
