John Kellogg '62 Receives Award from Simpson College

john kellogg.jpgNovember 6, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - John A. Kellogg, who retired as vice president of marketing and research at Simpson College over the summer and is a 1962 graduate of DePauw University, is the 2006 recipient of the Dick Buxton Award. The Simpson Gold Club, an organization designed to support the college's athletic programs, presented the award in memory of Buxton, the Gold Club's first president and an avid supporter of Simpson athletics. Kellogg was honored for willingly giving of his time and efforts in support of the college's athletic programs.

Kellogg joined the administrative staff of Simpson -- a private, liberal arts college which is located in Indianaola, DePauw Logo White.jpgIowa -- in 1977. Upon his retirement, he had oversight of the college's fund raising, alumni, marketing and public relations functions.
